Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

A fresh vibrant Semillion Sauvignon Blanc. Tropical fruit, melon and grassy aromas offer appealing intensity of fruit on the palate, which is complemented by the long, lingering, crisp finish.

Sauvignon Blanc
 

An intense nose leads to a delicate and elegant palate. There is a good continuation of fruit flavour on the finish, which is fresh and crisp. Enjoy by itself or with seafood, pasta or light meat dishes.

Chenin Blanc
 

Top of its class for five successive years at the Perth Royal Show, Woody Nook's Chenin Blanc has just a hint of sweetness. There are tropical fruits on the palate, with a honeyed smoothness and a refreshingly dry finish. Enjoy by itself or as an ideal accompaniment to a curry or any other Asian dish. It is an excellent luncheon wine.

Velvet Rose

Each year Woody Nook's second generation winemaker, Neil Gallagher, makes Velvet Rose using different grapes. This one is a blend of 65% Chenin Blanc and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is slightly sweet and has an abundance of luscious berry flavours, with an aromatic nose and a finish of lingering velvety smoothness. Whether served at room temperature during the winter months or well chilled on hot summer days and nights, it is equally delightful.

Shiraz

This 100% Shiraz wine was "Best in Class" at the 2004 Margaret River Wine Show. It exhibits a tinge of violets and spicy white pepper characteristics on the nose, which carry over to the palate, enhanced by fresh dark berry fruits and sweet vanillin oak. Enjoy now or be really rewarded by cellaring for a further 5-6 years. Especially wonderful served with lamb.

Merlot
 

This 100% Merlot wine shows excellent colour and bouquet and has a depth of fruit with wood overtones. The palate has good structure and complexity, yet is still very soft with good acid balance. A very versatile wine.

Cabernet Sauvignon
 

This magnificent, full-bodied 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wine is complex, with a nose which conveys an abundance of chocolate and blackcurrant with a hint of oriental spices. The palate is well-balanced with sweet fruit up front and soft mouth-filling tannins, which contribute great lengths to the rich flavours. A wonderful accompaniment to beef.

Killdog Creek
Cabernet Merlot

This 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot blend is packed with ripe, dark cherry fruit, exhibiting violets and toasty oak on the nose.  It has an appealing savoury flair with liquorice and blackcurrant flavours on the palate.
